Princess Yachts are a luxury yacht company based in Plymouth, UK. The website update aimed to craft an experience that felt as luxury, and experiential as the yachts themselves.
Throughout the design, the aim was to bring the experience of sailing a luxury Princess Yacht, to a digital product. To accomplish this, the UI features abundant imagery, overlay effects, nautical themed animations, and a keen attention to detail.
The Princess Marina was the answer to the question ‘What do you do for boat shows in a global pandemic?’. Dubbed ‘The Boat Show in a Box’, it was an interactive experience that brought the boat show to you. From playlists featuring sounds of the sea, to live link videos from key locations, it aimed to bring a feeling of escapism to the home.
